On August 26, 1920, half of the women in the United States were granted the right to vote with the passing of the 19th amendment. On this day each year we remember how far our county has come in terms of women rights. From voting rights for all women to equal pay, our country continues to progress forward. Celebrate National Women’s Equality Day by writing a thank you letter to an influential woman in your life, mentor a young girl or learn more about the issues facing women around the world today.
