A Veteran of the United States is someone who served in the armed forces on active duty whether in peacetime or war. The Veteran must have earned any character of discharge other than dishonorable. Our Veteran men and women served in either the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. Veterans also served as commissioned officers in the U.S Public Health Service, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or Environmental Science Service. These proud former service members come from generations of Americans representing our diversity of age, race, gender and religion.
