What is the FAFSA?
The FAFSA is a Free Application for Federal Student Aid that offers access to resources from the United States Federal Government. Filling out the FAFSA allows you to show your need for and receive financial aid.
Why Should I Fill Out the FAFSA?

Most students qualify for and receive financial aid for simply filling out the FAFSA.
Most colleges require your FAFSA profile in order to offer a school financial aid package.
Many scholarships platforms require your FAFSA profile.
A completed FAFSA is needed to appeal financial aid offers from college.
The FAFSA is how you apply for federal direct student loans and most state loans.
Even if you are at a good financial standing and don’t think you need to fill out the FAFSA, it is good to fill out the FAFSA in case something were to happen financially to you or your family’s life. This change could possibly increase the amount of financial aid you are qualified to receive.
